Introducing Dr. You.

Regardless of a particular doctor’s specialty, the prestige of the school they graduated from, the years of experience or area of expertise, doctors can’t cure headaches, mend broken bones or heal a wound. Only you can! If your healing ability isn’t impaired.

Turns out, you

Your inborn healing ability is responsible for the tremendous success that chiropractic patients enjoy. The only thing that doctors can do, regardless of their discipline, is to help reduce barriers to the incredible healing ability you were born with.

Which is why all of us at Oceanside Wellness Center are interested in your nervous system. It’s what controls every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. While it may appear that we’re focused on your spine, that’s only because the nerves along your spine are the most vulnerable part of your nervous system. Interference here can affect organs, tissues and systems throughout your body.

By reducing nervous system compromise along your spine, Dr. You can do the healing!

Dr. Lee Asks some important questions of interest to Oceanside residents - Chiropractor Oceanside Dr. Lee Asks...

Why is a "slipped disc" unlikely?
Separating each spinal vertebra is a disc. Its fibrous outer ring holds in a jelly-like material. Because of the way a disc attaches to the spinal bones above and below it, it can't actually "slip." However, a disc can bulge, tear, herniate, thin and collapse. But it can't slip.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
